Performing Lines produces provocative contemporary performance by Australia’s most audacious independent artists.  Our purpose is to champion risk and to ensure that the breadth and plurality of Australia’s creative potential is represented, celebrated and enjoyed.

We curate a portfolio of work that is propelled by pressing questions and new ways of seeing the world. We champion the unconventional, the marginal, the rebellious and the new.

For nearly 40 years, we have collaborated with arts companies, presenters and supporters to take some of this country’s most exciting and diverse contemporary arts experiences to audiences around Australia and the world.

Performing Lines is a national network of industry professionals with offices in Western Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales and working in the national and international performing arts sectors. We are committed to achieving industry best practice in all that we do, whether that is producing and touring shows, community engagement programs or supporting artist and the broader arts sector through skills development initiatives.

Performing Lines is seeking a full time Senior Producer who will be responsible for development and delivery of the Western Australian strategy and program.  

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian and/or Australian performing arts sector, exceptional relationship management skills, experience in performing arts producing, high level financial management skills, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment. 

This is a full-time, permanent role, based in the company’s Perth/Boorloo office. From time-to-time the role will require work outside of regular office hours.

Marketing Coordinator NSW/ VIC (0.6FTE)

Performing Lines is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator who will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager on the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, collateral and content for key Performing Lines projects and general company marketing. 

The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of marketing and communications strategies, including digital marketing, an ability to collaborate and think creatively, excellent written and verbal communication skills and impeccable attention to detail, and demonstrated experience managing competing deadlines.  

The role is part-time with standard contact hours negotiated by mutual agreement. As the role works across NSW, Vic and National projects, the role may be based in either the company’s Sydney/Warrane, or Melbourne/Naarm offices.  From time-to-time the role will require work outside of regular office hours. This is a fixed-term contract from Apr 2025 – Dec 2026. Subsequent extension will be subject to funding and performance within the contracted term
